Hutchins BBQ is a family-owned Texas barbecue institution founded in 1978 by Roy Hutchins, built on a foundation of faith, family, and community service. The restaurant has been honored multiple times as one of Texas Monthly's Top 50 BBQ Joints and was voted Best BBQ in DFW for 2025 by the Dallas Morning News. Hutchins BBQ has also been invited twice to cook at the prestigious James Beard House in New York City.
The menu features slow-smoked meats including signature brisket, turkey breast, pork ribs, and sausage, alongside classic sides and their famous Texas Twinkie. Hutchins BBQ operates two locations in the Dallas-Fort Worth area — 1301 N Tennessee St, McKinney, TX (972-548-2629) and 9225 Preston Rd, Frisco, TX (972-377-2046) — both open Monday through Sunday, 11am–9pm. Delivery is available via UberEats and DoorDash, and nationwide shipping of smoked meats is offered through Goldbelly.
