This magnum-format 1.5L bottle is ideal for entertaining and aging, presenting the wine in an impressive large-format presentation. Pine Ridge Vineyards was founded in 1978 and has invested in 160 acres of estate vineyards, with 47 acres in their home appellation of Stags Leap District.

The wine opens with seductive aromas of Hungarian baking spice, blueberry bramble, and maraschino cherry. Cocoa nib threads through a plush palate of blackberry, mandarin, and slate. Bright acidity lifts the flavors, while Marionberry and polished tannins stretch the finish, making it juicy and layered with the structure to evolve beautifully over a decade. Grapes are hand-picked at night, carefully sorted, then aged for 18 months in a combination of new French oak (35%), new American oak (15%), and neutral French oak (50%) to preserve freshness and elegance.
