The wine is normally composed of 100% Cabernet Sauvignon, with select vintages incorporating a small addition of Cabernet Franc for added richness and complexity.

The wine pours a deep violet/ruby color and opens with aromas of rich black currant and cassis, accented by hints of minerally gravel and faint lead pencil notes.
