Tenuta di Valgiano Colline Lucchesi Rosso is a prestigious Tuscan red wine produced at an estate located in the hills above Lucca in the Colline Lucchesi DOC zone of northwestern Tuscany. Founded in 1992 by Moreno Petrini, the estate surrounds an 11th-century villa and chapel and farms roughly 40 acres of vineyards alongside olive groves, woodland, and mixed agriculture.

This wine is a blend of Sangiovese, Merlot, and Syrah, with Sangiovese forming the backbone. The fruit is sourced from the estate's oldest vineyards, including vines planted in the 1950s. Viticulture follows a practical biodynamic approach centered on hand work, composting, cover crops, and biodiversity. Fermentation takes place with native yeasts, followed by aging in a combination of oak and cement vats. Annual production is limited to approximately 8,000 bottles.

Tenuta di Valgiano has been repeatedly recognized by Italian wine critics as one of the estates that helped define modern Colline Lucchesi. The wine has received Tre Bicchieri recognition from Gambero Rosso multiple times, and the 2022 vintage earned a 95-point score from James Suckling. Full-bodied with savory complexity and elegance, it is an outstanding expression of biodynamic viticulture in Tuscany.
