Tayu Pinot Noir is a distinctive Chilean red wine crafted by Viña San Pedro under their 1865 label, sourced from the cool-climate Malleco Valley in southern Chile. This wine is the result of an authentic collaboration between the Buchahueico indigenous community of the region and the San Pedro winery, celebrating Chile's native roots through a vibrant expression of Pinot Noir grown on granitic soils at high elevation.

The wine presents an intense ruby red color in the glass. On the nose, it reveals fresh red fruit aromas of cherries and wild strawberry, accented by spicy and herbal notes drawn from wild Chilean botanicals such as paico and boldo, along with hints of peppermint. On the palate, it is fresh and lively with a dense structure reflecting its granitic terroir, vibrant acidity, and a long, persistent finish.

Tayu Pinot Noir pairs beautifully with mild blue cheeses such as gorgonzola dolce or brie, goat cheese, mushroom risotto, truffle-infused dishes, roasted duck, or grilled salmon. Sold in a 750ml bottle with 12.5% alcohol by volume.
