Jean-Michel Dupré Morgon 'Chai d'Oeuvre' is a 100% Gamay red wine from Cru Morgon, one of the ten prestigious Crus of Beaujolais in Burgundy, France. Jean-Michel Dupré is a fifth-generation vigneron based in Les Ardillats who inherited the family farm and its small vineyard holdings in the early 1990s. He has since sought out old-vine parcels across Morgon, Régnié, and Beaujolais Villages — many planted as far back as 1911, 1918, and 1935 — and practices certified organic viticulture across all vineyards.

'Chai d'Oeuvre' offers an expressive nose of red plums, plum skin, and nutmeg with a pleasantly spicy, tart character. On the palate, red and dark plums give way to black cherries, orange rind acidity, and a note of black tea, returning to vibrant black cherries on the fresh, lively finish. The wine is lighter in body with 12.5% alcohol and is best enjoyed now through 3 years from vintage.

This wine pairs beautifully with sushi, chicken salad, white fish, fried chicken, charcuterie, salads, and burgers. It can also be served lightly chilled.
