Sourced from select blocks of the vineyard that yield the reddest fruit and most complex tertiary aromas, Conifer is typically harvested first in the season, resulting in elevated natural acidity and vibrant floral character.

The wine opens with exotic aromas evoking a Mediterranean market—notes of rosemary, lavender, mandarin orange peel, juniper, and huckleberry alongside the distinct fragrance of a Ponderosa high-desert pine forest. On the palate, flavors of cherry jam, warm spice, dark chocolate, white pepper, and sesame seeds unfold, with earthy nuances of matsutake mushroom and sage leading to a lengthy, satisfying finish.
