What sets this whisky apart is its finishing process: after initial maturation, the spirit is transferred into casks sourced primarily from Virginia cideries, including Potter's Craft Cider and Buskey Cider, where it rests for an additional 8 to 20 months. This extended cider-cask finishing imparts layers of orchard fruit character while preserving the underlying malt complexity.

On the nose, notes of vanilla, green apple, and fresh pear greet the senses. The palate delivers baked apple and cinnamon mingling with caramelized wood sugars from the oak, complemented by a touch of bright acidity carried from the cider barrels.
