The Macallan 2025 Classic Cut Scotland 750ML

The Macallan Classic Cut 2025 Edition is the ninth release in The Macallan's acclaimed annual Classic Cut series, a limited edition single malt Scotch whisky bottled at the whisky maker's preferred strength of 50.6% ABV to fully express its unique character and flavor profile.

This premium Highland single malt is matured exclusively in hand-picked sherry seasoned American and European oak casks from Jerez, Spain, along with ex-Bourbon casks. The whisky displays a natural golden sunset color derived entirely from its cask maturation, with no artificial coloring added.

On the nose, the whisky offers inviting notes of orange oil, barley sugar, and velvety milk chocolate, complemented by caramel wafer, creamy vanilla panna cotta, and freshly baked apple turnover. The palate delivers an icing sugar sweetness with fresh fruits including grapefruit and mandarin, along with lemon zested meringue and caramelised almonds. The finish is characterized by more grapefruit, melon, and a touch of warming oak spice.

A multisensory experience unfolds with the addition of water: at full strength, velvety milk chocolate and orange zest are prominent; reduced to 40% with water, bright notes of grapefruit and creamy vanilla panna cotta emerge; at 20% strength, a fresh, warming finish of apple and lemon zest is unveiled.
