Viña Real Rosado is a dry rosé wine produced by CVNE (Compañía Vinícola del Norte de España) under their Viña Real label, hailing from the prestigious Rioja DOCa appellation in northern Spain. The wine is sourced from vineyards aged 8 to 15 years old in the cool, clay soils of Rioja Alavesa, specifically around the villages of Elciego and Laguardia, with a blend of head-trained and trellis vines.

Crafted from 70% Viura, 30% Tempranillo and Garnacha, the grapes are harvested at optimal ripeness to achieve moderate alcohol content, fruity expression, and balanced acidity. After a brief maceration, juice is extracted via a gravity-led process — no mechanical press — and fermented in stainless steel tanks for 20 to 25 days at a controlled temperature of approximately 16°C, preserving vibrant primary aromas. The wine is then clarified, filtered, and bottled young to retain its freshness.

In the glass, Viña Real Rosado displays an attractive pale rose color with glints of salmon. The nose offers elegant aromatic complexity with notes of stone fruits such as peach and apricot, layered with floral hints and depth from red fruits. On the palate, the wine is fresh, medium-bodied, and fruity with refreshing acidity and a clean, balanced finish.
