Adelaida HMR Vineyard Chardonnay is a Burgundian-style white wine sourced from Adelaida's historic HMR Estate Vineyard in Paso Robles, California. HMR stands for Hoffman Mountain Ranch, the original vineyard planted by Dr. Stanley Hoffman in the early 1960s, making it one of the pioneering wine estates in the region.

The HMR Estate Vineyard sits at elevations between 1,600 and 1,735 feet on calcareous limestone soil — a terroir rarely associated with Paso Robles and more reminiscent of Burgundy's Côte de Beaune. This unique combination of altitude and limestone imparts distinctive mineral character and natural acidity to the wine. The vineyard is devoted exclusively to Burgundian grape varieties, an unusual focus for the Central Coast appellation.

On the nose, the wine offers nectar peach, fresh wheat, lilies, and river stone. The palate is layered with Bartlett pear, persimmon, agave syrup, and oleo saccharum. Food pairings include Chinese chicken salad with mandarin oranges, or fried green tomato with white shrimp, burrata, avocado, and tomato.
