The wine presents a deep, dark reddish-purple color with full, forward aromas of ripe cherries, blackberries, and cassis, accented by earthy and floral notes, baking spice, mint, fresh herbs, cocoa, and minerals with a subtle touch of oak and vanilla. On the palate, it is full-bodied with well-balanced, smooth tannins and concentrated flavors of dark cherry, blackberry, and plum layered with cocoa, herbs, and a lingering mineral-driven finish. It drinks well with decanting and additional airing and has the structure to develop further with short-term cellaring.
