Glenmorangie A Tale of the Spices is a limited edition Highland single malt Scotch whisky bottled at 46% ABV. Inspired by the vibrant aromas and rainbow hues of fragrant spice markets around the world, this creation by Dr. Bill Lumsden and Master Blender Gillian Macdonald marks the first time in Glenmorangie's history that bourbon-aged whisky has been finished simultaneously in four distinct cask types.

The four-cask finishing combines Moroccan red wine casks crafted from French oak for mouth-watering layers of sweet spice, new charred oak casks for an additional spicy dimension, shaved and toasted red wine casks for nuanced fruity notes, and Pedro Ximénez sherry casks for rich, sweet depths. The result is a uniquely complex, perfumed, and warming single malt with exceptional layering.

On the nose, rose, jasmine, lilac, and carnation are lifted by cumin, saffron, nutmeg, ginger, chili, and anise. The palate is lively and full-bodied, blending black pepper, mustard seed, and chili heat with sweet notes of mint toffee, demerara sugar, and sugar-coated almonds. The finish is long and rich, with lingering spice, peppery zing, and a distinct eucalyptus freshness.
