Woodford Reserve Barrel Strength Rye is a limited-edition Kentucky Straight Rye Whiskey bottled at full barrel strength of 125.1 proof (62.55% ABV), marking the brand's first-ever barrel strength rye expression. Crafted by Master Distiller Elizabeth McCall at the historic Woodford Reserve Distillery in Kentucky, this whiskey uses a pre-prohibition style mash bill of 53% rye, 33% corn, and 14% malted barley — the same foundation as the standard Woodford Reserve Rye — and is aged a minimum of four years.

On the nose, this whiskey presents rye bread, grain, oak, light baking spices, dried corn, and dried oats. The palate delivers rye spice, breakfast syrup, baking spices, tobacco leaf, black peppercorn, and chewy vanilla with a silky mouthfeel. The finish lingers with rye spice, oak, brown butter, and green peppercorn.
