Domaine La Cadenière's Vallon d'Escale Blanc is a refined Provençal white wine from the AOP Coteaux d'Aix-en-Provence appellation in southern France. The estate, rooted in the Vallon de La Cadenière since the 1950s, has been farming organically across 59 hectares of vines under the stewardship of the Tobias family — now in its third generation. The first vintage was produced in 1973, and the domaine is today fully certified organic.

The Vallon d'Escale vineyard occupies an emblematic plot near an ancient Greco-Roman road, where archaeological remains confirm the land has been cultivated for over 2,000 years. Grapes are harvested at night to preserve aromatic freshness, then destemmed, crushed, cold macerated, and fermented at low temperature before blending. The wine is composed of 50% Rolle (Vermentino), 45% Sauvignon Blanc, and 5% Clairette.

On the nose, the wine offers enticing aromas of white fruits and citrus, laced with subtle spicy nuances from oak aging. Light in body with a refreshing acidity, it pairs beautifully with grilled sea bass, creamy risotto with asparagus, roasted poultry, and soft cheeses. The 2024 vintage earned 91 Points from Wine Enthusiast as a Hidden Gem. Contains sulfites.
