Jack Daniel's Single Barrel Special Release Tanyard Hill Rye is a barrel proof Tennessee rye whiskey aged almost 10 years. The whiskey entered barrels in November 2015 and matured on the top floors of Rickhouse 101 at Tanyard Hill, one of the distillery's oldest barrel houses built in the early 1960s. The whiskey is crafted from a mashbill of 70% rye, 18% corn, and 12% malted barley, then undergoes a modified Lincoln County Process using about one-third the charcoal of traditional Jack Daniel's whiskeys, with filtering lasting just minutes rather than 24 hours.

Each single barrel bottling ranges from 130.2 to 148.8 proof (65.1% to 74.4% ABV), with approximately 15,000 bottles produced from 175 qualifying barrels. The whiskey presents aromas of dark fruits, black cherry, raisin, apple peel, banana, cinnamon, and dark chocolate. The palate delivers rich flavors of black cherry, raisin, cinnamon, baking spices, barrel char, and dense aged oak with a thick mouthfeel. The finish is long with notes of baking spices, tobacco, clove, leather, raisin, and brown sugar. This 6-pack contains 750ml bottles of this special 2025 release.
