Chevalier de Lascombes is the distinguished second wine of Château Lascombes, a renowned estate in the prestigious Margaux appellation of Bordeaux's Médoc region on the Left Bank of France. Crafted from carefully selected lots not designated for the Grand Vin, this red Bordeaux blend offers exceptional quality and approachability while embodying the elegance and refinement for which the Margaux AOC is celebrated worldwide.

The wine is a classic Left Bank Bordeaux blend anchored by Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot, with potential additions of Petit Verdot and Cabernet Franc. It presents a deep ruby color with an expressive nose of ripe dark fruits — blackberry, black cherry, and cassis — layered with oak, warm spice, vanilla, and subtle floral and earthy undertones. On the palate, the wine is medium to full-bodied with juicy, rounded tannins, vibrant fruit concentration, and a long, flavorful finish. The 2018 vintage earned 93 points from James Suckling and 90 points from Vinous Media.

This wine pairs beautifully with grilled meats, roasted vegetables, rack of lamb, and hearty braised dishes. Decanting for 30–60 minutes before serving is recommended to open up the aromatics. While approachable in its youth, it has the structure and complexity to develop further with several years of cellaring.
