The Flying Blue Courtier Cabernet Franc is a 2023 single-varietal red wine sourced from 15-year-old vines in Calistoga's Napa Valley, nestled between Highway 29 and the Silverado Trail in one of Napa's warmest up-valley appellations. Cabernet Franc's earlier ripening cycle makes it particularly well-suited to Calistoga's warm growing conditions, allowing it to reach full maturity in the cooler 2023 vintage while retaining vibrant natural acidity.

Crafted by Flying Blue Imports and awarded 94 points by Decanter, the wine is fermented in stainless steel and aged in 75% new French oak, resulting in a structured yet approachable style. The nose leads with pure red and black fruit — cherry and blackberry complemented by spiced Santa Rosa plums — with heady cedar wood spices seamlessly woven throughout. Slate-stone minerality adds tension and length on the palate, joined by savoury sagebrush and crushed cocoa nibs. Plump, inviting tannins carry the wine to a long, satisfying finish. 100% Cabernet Franc, 15.6% ABV. Drink 2025–2035.
