Le Preare Valpolicella is a classic Italian red wine crafted by Cantina di Negrar in the Valpolicella DOC appellation of Veneto, Italy. The name "Le Preare" pays homage to the region's storied past — ancient stone mines called "preare" in local dialect once defined the Valpolicella landscape, where the famous red marble of Verona was quarried and local stones were used to build terraces for the vines on steep hillside slopes.

This traditional Valpolicella blend is composed of 60% Corvina, 20% Corvinone, and 20% Rondinella grapes, vinified to capture the authentic soul of the territory. The wine pours ruby red with violet hints, offering aromas of red and black fruits with vinous and gently spicy notes. On the palate it is dry and warm with a velvety texture, medium body, and well-balanced tannins that carry through to a smooth, refreshing finish.

Following full malolactic fermentation, the wine matures in stainless steel vats to preserve its natural freshness and fruit-forward character. At 12% ABV with a clean, bright acidity, this is a young and approachable wine that pairs beautifully with pasta dishes, grilled meats, duck, pork chops with cherry sauce, hearty stews, and a wide range of aged cheeses.
