Château L'Étoile de Clotte is a distinguished Bordeaux estate situated in the Saint-Émilion Grand Cru appellation, managed by Vignobles Meynard in Saint-Magne-de-Castillon. The estate's 2-hectare vineyard is planted on clay-limestone soils with vines averaging 30 years of age, producing a classic right-bank Bordeaux blend of 70% Merlot and 30% Cabernet Franc.

Grapes are mechanically harvested and fermented in stainless steel tanks, then aged in a combination of new oak barrels and previously used barrels, balancing oak influence with preserved fruit character. The wine opens with aromas of fleshy blackberry, crushed violet plum, and strawberry, layered with notes of tobacco, camphor, and a discreet vanilla nuance. On the palate it is powerful yet elegant, with a pleasing balance of acidity and smooth tannins, a medium to full body, and a long, polished finish.
