Domaine Laleure-Piot Chablis 1er Cru Les Vaucoupins is a premier cru white Burgundy from the celebrated Chablis appellation in northern France. Made from 100% Chardonnay grapes grown in the Les Vaucoupins premier cru vineyard, this wine expresses the distinctive character of one of the world's most prized terroirs.

Founded over three centuries ago in the village of Pernand-Vergelesses, Domaine Laleure-Piot has been part of Maison Champy since 2010. The estate practices organic and biodynamic farming on its 10-hectare holdings, which span premier and grand cru parcels across the Côte de Beaune and Chablis. Grapes are hand-harvested with strict yield control, then vinified using modern, gravity-fed techniques in stainless steel and oak, with the wine resting 11 to 20 months in barrel before release.

Chablis premier cru wines are shaped by the region's famous Kimmeridgian soil — an ancient blend of clay and limestone formed from 180-million-year-old fossilized oyster shells. This unique geology gives the wine its signature steely minerality and bright, saline edge. Expect flavors of lemon zest, green apple, and white flowers, with crisp acidity and a clean, lingering finish. An excellent pairing with oysters, shellfish, grilled fish, and mild cheeses.
