Heaven Hill Grain to Glass Specialty Barrel Series is the inaugural limited release from Heaven Hill Distillery, one of America's premier family-owned whiskey producers based in Bardstown, Kentucky. This exclusive Costco allocation features six 700ml bottles of Kentucky straight whiskey from the acclaimed 2025 Specialty Barrel Series, which extends the celebrated Grain to Glass tradition by exploring the influence of rare wood types on whiskey maturation. The series is limited to one purchase per member due to its highly restricted allocation.

For this first edition, Heaven Hill Master Distiller Conor O'Driscoll partnered with Independent Stave Company to select Chinquapin Oak barrels—a rare Missouri-grown species of American white oak with notably higher vanillin content than standard bourbon barrels. The result is a whiskey that delivers rich notes of butterscotch, crème brûlée, toasted nut, chocolate, and coffee alongside a bold mouthfeel and layered finish. Each whiskey was barreled at 107 proof, honoring the historic entry proof used by Heaven Hill's founders, and bottled non-chill filtered at barrel proof to preserve the full character imparted by the Chinquapin Oak. Three expressions comprise the series: Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey (105 proof, mashbill 52% Corn / 35% Rye / 13% Malt), Kentucky Straight Wheated Bourbon Whiskey (105 proof, mashbill 52% Corn / 35% Wheat / 13% Malt), and Kentucky Straight Rye Whiskey (107 proof, mashbill 63% Rye / 24% Corn / 13% Malt).

The Grain to Glass program is rooted in farm-level transparency. Each year Heaven Hill partners with Beck's Hybrids to select a non-GMO corn seed varietal ideally suited to Central Kentucky soils. The 2025 release uses the Beck's 6225 varietal grown by Peterson Farms in Nelson County, directly across from Heaven Hill's Bardstown campus. Each label details the corn varietal, mashbill, barrel type, and both distillation and release years, underscoring the brand's commitment to full traceability from seed to sip. A portion of every Grain to Glass sale—up to $100,000 annually—supports the Family Farms First initiative through Farm Rescue, aiding American farm families in times of need.
