The 2025 release, Camp Nelson E, originates from a 1946-built rickhouse tucked among the trees along the Kentucky River. Barrels are drawn from the fifth floor, where consistent shading and cooler temperatures create a slower, more nuanced maturation profile — a stark contrast to the sun-beaten heights of prior releases. Bottled at a robust 128-proof barrel strength and non-chill filtered to preserve its full character, Camp Nelson E delivers aromas of vanilla, caramel, maple, figs, dried orange peel, cola, and toasted oak.
