Goose Island Bourbon County Brand Proprietor's Stout is the most coveted and limited variant in the iconic Bourbon County Stout lineup. Released annually on Black Friday, Proprietor's is exclusively available in the Chicagoland market, making it one of the most sought-after barrel-aged imperial stouts in the craft beer world. Each year features a unique recipe inspired by Chicago culture and culinary traditions, with past editions incorporating ingredients such as toasted rice and raisins, or walnuts, pistachios, cassia bark, and honey to create baklava-inspired flavors.

This imperial stout is aged in freshly emptied bourbon barrels, developing rich layers of vanilla, oak, and caramelized sugar. The Proprietor's variant builds on the legendary Original Stout base with carefully selected adjunct ingredients that complement and elevate the barrel character. ABV typically ranges from approximately 13.9% to 14.3% depending on the vintage year. Brewed with Millennium hops and packaged in a single 16.9 oz (500 ml) bottle. Contains wheat.
