Alexander Valley Vineyards Sauvignon Blanc is a crisp, food-friendly white wine from Sonoma County's prestigious Alexander Valley AVA in Northern California. Crafted from 100% Sauvignon Blanc grapes, this wine presents a pale straw color with inviting aromas of tropical fruit, passion fruit, green apple, grapefruit, and melon, accented by a bouquet of white grapefruit, white peach, and a hint of lime.
On the palate, it delivers bright citrus flavors of lime and tangerine with notes of pineapple, lemon curd, and stony minerality. The mouthfeel is light-plus bodied with integrated medium-plus acidity — balanced, round, and fresh — finishing clean, dry, and refreshing with a lovely herbal mélange. The bottle is sealed with a Stelvin screw cap to preserve freshness.
Alexander Valley Vineyards is a family-owned winery established on the historic homestead of Cyrus Alexander, who founded the Alexander Valley in 1840 and was the first to plant vines in the region. Harry and Maggie Wetzel purchased the Healdsburg estate in 1962 and began planting vineyards, with the winery now in its fourth generation of family ownership. This Sauvignon Blanc pairs beautifully with grilled swordfish, seafood dishes, fresh salads, and light pasta.
