Brewed in collaboration with Heaven Hill Distillery, this release is aged in not one, but two sets of freshly emptied Heaven Hill Bottled-in-Bond Bourbon barrels, making it a true celebration of the barrel itself.

As creators of the world's first bourbon barrel-aged stout, Goose Island's brewers have spent over thirty years perfecting the Bourbon County brand. Each variable—ingredient selection, barrel choice, and aging time—is meticulously tuned to reveal the full complexity of the original stout.
