André Goichot Chassagne-Montrachet is a Pinot Noir red Burgundy from the renowned Chassagne-Montrachet village in the Côte de Beaune, produced by Maison André Goichot, a respected Burgundy négociant founded in 1947. Sourced from the celebrated southern Côte de Beaune hillside that Chassagne-Montrachet shares with Puligny, this village-level appellation wine offers an authentic expression of terroir-driven Burgundian winemaking.
On the nose, the wine reveals notes of acacia, honeysuckle, dark cherry, and minerals. The palate is medium-bodied and smooth, with flavors of dark chocolate, cherry, butter, and a hint of saddle leather. The finish is persistent, honey-tinged, and elegantly balanced, with a minerality that reflects the limestone-rich soils of the appellation. Rated 4.1 out of 5 on Vivino across 253 ratings, placing it in the top 3% of wines worldwide and top 7% of wines from Chassagne-Montrachet.
Pairs beautifully with beef, veal, poultry, and game meats. Serve at cellar temperature for best enjoyment. Contains sulfites.
