Château Mouton Rothschild is one of the world's most prestigious wines, produced at the legendary estate in the village of Pauillac in the Médoc region of Bordeaux, France, approximately 50 kilometers northwest of the city of Bordeaux. The wine is fermented in traditional oak vats and then matured in new oak casks, one of the last châteaux in the Médoc to preserve this practice.

Each vintage of Château Mouton Rothschild features a unique label designed by a celebrated artist, a tradition inaugurated in 1945 by Baron Philippe de Rothschild. Artists such as Salvador Dalí, Pablo Picasso, Francis Bacon, and Joan Miró have all created labels for the wine.
