The Rexton Trax 42 RIC is a premium Receiver-in-Canal (RIC) hearing aid sold exclusively through Costco Hearing Aid Centers. Built on Rexton's proprietary QuadCore processing platform, it delivers 42 channels and 20 gain handles for precise audiological fitting, along with 6 programmable listening programs to accommodate a wide range of listening environments.

This RIC model uses a size 312 battery and includes an integrated telecoil (t-coil) for compatibility with hearing loop systems. Four selectable power levels allow the aid to be fitted for mild to moderately-severe hearing loss. The device is compatible with the optional Smart Connect Bluetooth streaming accessory, which enables hands-free audio streaming from iOS and Android devices without significantly impacting battery life, and doubles as a remote microphone.

Sound quality in noise is a key strength of the Trax 42 platform. Directional iLock technology coordinates all four microphones across a binaural pair via QuadCore Audio Exchange, allowing the hearing aids to dynamically steer focus toward speech. The Mic-Pattern Adjustment feature further refines the directional pickup pattern based on the current listening environment.

Remote adjustments to volume and programs can be made through the Connexx Smart Remote app, available for Apple iOS and Android. Technology in the Trax 42 line is comparable to the Rexton 80 4c and Siemens 7bx product platforms.
