On Q Wines Appassionata is a 100% Cabernet Sauvignon sourced from the prestigious Oakville American Viticultural Area within Napa Valley, California. Founded by Steve Brady, On Q Wines takes its name from the musical cue — the conductor's signal to begin — reflecting Brady's lifelong passion for the trumpet and his belief that in wine, music, and life, timing is everything. The Appassionata bottling is a cult-status, extremely limited-production wine carefully crafted from only the finest Oakville grapes.

This wine is made under the guidance of consultant winemaker Julien Fayard, whose résumé includes Château Lafite Rothschild, Quintessa, and Atelier Melka. The vintage is aged 30 months in French oak barrels, building layers of earth, tobacco, spice, and cocoa that play off a core of intense dark-fleshed fruit and a clean mineral finish. Aromas of ripe blackberry, cassis, black cherry, and dried violet are complemented by notes of slate and espresso.
