Yealand's Reserve Sauvignon Blanc is a 100% Sauvignon Blanc sourced from carefully selected parcels at Yealands' Seaview Vineyard in the Awatere Valley, the southernmost, coolest, and driest of Marlborough's growing regions in New Zealand. The vineyard's close proximity to the coast imparts distinctive mineral characteristics, with vines often misted by sea spray from the nearby coastline.

At the winery, the fruit was gently pressed and the juice fermented in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks using a range of selected yeasts to capture and enhance the wine's varietal characteristics. The wine was then blended, stabilized, and filtered before bottling. It presents an enticing nose of perfumed blackcurrant leaf, key lime, fresh herb, and passionfruit, while the palate is complex with layers of fruit sweetness, citrus drive, and a mineral finish. ABV is 12.5%, sealed with a screw cap.

Yealands is one of only a handful of wineries worldwide to be certified carbon neutral from inception, reflecting their commitment to sustainable winemaking. The Reserve Sauvignon Blanc earned 91 points from Wine Spectator in October 2024 and is sold in cases of six 750ml bottles.
