A dry Sancerre Rosé from the Berthier family domaine in France's prestigious Loire Valley. Crafted from Pinot Noir grapes grown in the celebrated Sancerre appellation, this wine displays a pale rosé color with inviting aromas of white currant, apricot, and vine peach. On the palate it delivers a pleasing balance of suppleness and refreshing acidity that is characteristic of Loire Pinot Noir, with strawberry, cream, and mineral notes rounding out the profile. Community critics have awarded it 90 points, praising its good mineral structure and considerable fruit.

The Berthier family has cultivated vines in the Centre-Loire region for several generations. Brothers Clément and Florian represent the newest chapter of this heritage estate: Clément honed his craft as a cellar master in the United States and now oversees vinification and sales, while Florian drew on experience in Burgundy and New Zealand before taking charge of the vineyards. The estate is managed sustainably without herbicides or pesticides. Vinification is kept deliberately minimal, relying on the wine's naturally present CO2 to protect it from oxidation and to maintain low sulphur levels, allowing the terroir to speak clearly in the glass. The domaine achieved organic certification in 2022.
