Château Bourdieu No. 1 is an elegant red Bordeaux blend from the Blaye Côtes de Bordeaux appellation in France, crafted by winemaker Luc Schweitzer. This "audacious" wine showcases the full potential of Château Bourdieu's hillside terroir, where sun-drenched soils yield grapes of exceptional ripeness and complexity.

The blend is composed of 89% Merlot, 8% Cabernet Sauvignon, and 3% Malbec, delivering a wine of balance and character. The wine pours a deep garnet with intense reflections, and the nose opens with very ripe black fruits — blackcurrant, blueberry, and blackberry — alongside fresh red fruits like strawberry and redcurrant, enhanced by appealing toasted oak and vanilla notes. On the palate, it is rich, structured, and fleshy with round, silky tannins that give it a smooth and satisfying finish.

The 2024 vintage earned Gold medals at both the Concours de Bordeaux Vins d'Aquitaine and the Concours des Grands Vins de France à Mâcon, affirming its quality among Bordeaux's best value offerings. Each bottle is 750ml and is sold in a case of 12.
