Clos Marsalette is a prestigious white Bordeaux blend from the Pessac-Léognan appellation within the Graves region of Bordeaux, France. Produced at the estate in Martillac and co-owned by Count Stephan von Neipperg and Didier Miqueu, the wine is crafted from a blend of Sauvignon Blanc (60%) and Sémillon (40%), grown on gravelly soils deposited by the Garonne River over marine sediment subsoil.
The wine expresses honeyed grapefruit, pineapple, tangerine peel, and chamomile aromas with toasty, chalky notes and a rounded, textured palate. It is medium to full-bodied with bright acidity, excellent balance, and the structure to cellar for 5–7 years or longer. Critics have awarded recent vintages scores of 92–93 points from Wine Spectator, Jeb Dunnuck, and Vinous Media. Sold in a case of 6 x 750ML bottles.
