Forman Chateau La Grande Roche is the second label of Forman Vineyard, named after the massive pink and grey boulders on which the winery was built on Howell Mountain. Established by legendary Napa winemaker Ric Forman to ensure that the flagship Forman Cabernet is always created from only the very best lots each year, this wine represents exceptional value from one of Napa's most experienced vintners.

100% estate vineyard sourced from unconsolidated river gravel soils similar to Bordeaux's Medoc region. The blend is composed of 76% Cabernet Sauvignon, 16% Cabernet Franc, 5% Petit Verdot, and 3% Merlot. Aged for 21 months in once-used French oak barrels. This wine displays a wonderfully deep color with aromas of blueberry, flint, currant, licorice, and pomegranate backed by a dusty herbal bouquet. The palate shows ripe black plum, blackberry cordial, tobacco, and cedar with firm tannins and healthy acidity. Made in the same classic style as the flagship Forman bottling at a fraction of the price. Alcohol content 14.8%.
