Joseph Drouhin Nuits-Saint-Georges Premier Cru Les Procès is a prestigious red Burgundy wine from the Côte de Nuits, France, crafted entirely from 100% Pinot Noir. Sold as a 6-bottle case of 750ML bottles, this wine represents one of the finest Premier Cru expressions from the renowned Nuits-Saint-Georges appellation.

Maison Joseph Drouhin owns nearly half of the Premier Cru Les Procès vineyard, situated next to the famous Pruliers vineyard at the heart of the Côte de Nuits. The vineyard benefits from an excellent due east exposure on a mild incline, with deep, well-drained soil that is not overly rocky. Drouhin has practiced biological cultivation since 1990 and transitioned to biodynamic viticulture shortly thereafter. The estate's 0.37-hectare (0.925-acre) holding features vines averaging 59 years of age, lending exceptional concentration and complexity to the wine.

Tasting notes by Véronique Boss-Drouhin describe a deep garnet color, bright like a gemstone, with intense yet elegant aromas reminiscent of cherry jelly with hints of wood and balsam or cedar. With age, the aromas take on gamey touches. On the palate, the wine displays both flesh and structure with a velvety texture and a very flavorful aftertaste evoking fruit syrups and spice infusions.

This versatile Pinot Noir pairs beautifully with poultry, beef, fish, ham, lamb, and pork, and is especially complementary with creamy sauces and mildly spiced preparations.
