Bueno Foods Hot Red Chile Pods are hand-selected, #1 grade dried New Mexico red chile peppers harvested at the peak of the season. Each 10-ounce bag contains approximately 30 dried chile pods that deliver authentic New Mexican flavor and heat.

These versatile chile pods are perfect for making traditional red chile sauce, tamales, enchiladas, carne adovada, and other Southwestern dishes. The pods can also be used to create decorative chile ristras. To prepare, remove stems and seeds, soak in water to soften, bring to a boil and simmer, then blend with garlic, oregano, and salt to create a flavorful red chile sauce.
