LALO High Proof Blanco Tequila is a limited-edition 2025 release that marks the brand's first-ever distilled-to-proof expression. Bottled at 50% ABV (100 proof) with no water added after distillation, this tequila captures agave in its purest, most untouched form straight from the still. Crafted by third-generation tequila maker Eduardo "Lalo" González in the highlands of Jalisco, Mexico, using traditional methods including brick steam ovens and a 3-4 day fermentation process.

This blanco tequila is made with just three simple ingredients: fully mature Blue Weber agave, deep well water, and champagne yeast. No additives or adjustments are made during processing, preserving the pure intensity of the agave. The result is a bold and expressive tequila with intense roasted agave aromas, green vegetal notes like spicy jalapeño, subtle minerality, and hints of mint and white pepper. The palate is full-bodied and silky with rich cooked agave, earthy tones, olive brine, and fresh herbal complexity, finishing long and clean with agave sweetness, peppery spice, and a touch of salinity.

This release honors LALO's heritage while celebrating innovation and authenticity in tequila making. Following the success of the 2024 High Proof release which became the #1 selling high proof tequila, the 2025 edition strikes the perfect balance between LALO's signature 80 proof Blanco and last year's bold 108 proof offering.
