Ruffino Riserva Ducale Oro is a prestigious Chianti Classico Riserva DOCG from Tuscany, Italy, presented here in an impressive 3-liter format. First produced in 1927 and elevated to its "Oro" (gold) designation with the exceptional 1947 vintage, this wine is crafted only in the finest vintages, allowing it to reach its full aging potential.

The blend is composed of approximately 80% Sangiovese complemented by Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon. After harvest, the wine undergoes malolactic fermentation to develop a velvety texture, then ages for 24 months in a combination of oak barrels, stainless steel, and concrete vats. The result is a wine of impressive structure with elegant, refined tannins and bright acidity.

On the nose, it opens with intense notes of cherry, plum, and violet, gradually revealing a more complex bouquet of eucalyptus, dark chocolate, and black pepper.
