Hennessy XO Lunar New Year 2026 "Year of the Horse" Edition is a limited-release cognac featuring exclusive packaging designed by renowned contemporary Chinese artist Xu Zhen. This special edition celebrates the Chinese Lunar New Year with bold gold and red motifs depicting a dynamic horse, symbolizing renewal, forward motion, and unity.

The cognac itself is the legendary Hennessy XO blend crafted from over 100 carefully selected eaux-de-vie aged for up to 30 years in French oak casks. The blend draws from multiple growth areas in the Cognac region including Grande Champagne, Petite Champagne, Borderies, Fins Bois, Bons Bois, and Bois Ordinaires.

The color presents as deep old-gold with subtle amber highlights. On the nose, rich aromas of candied orange peel, dried fig and raisin, warm cocoa, and fine oak spice emerge, with underlying hints of leather and sandalwood adding depth. The palate is smooth and full-bodied with layers of candied stone fruit and dark chocolate, complemented by nutmeg, cinnamon spice, toasted hazelnut, and mature oak tannins. The finish is exceptionally long, elegant, and lingering, carrying soft echoes of walnut, wood smoke, toffee, and a final note of dried orange zest.
