Bowmore ARC-54 is an exceptionally rare 54-year-old Islay single malt Scotch whisky, the result of an exclusive collaboration between Bowmore Distillery and Aston Martin. Distilled in November 1968 and matured for over half a century in Bowmore's legendary No. 1 Vaults—the oldest whisky warehouse in the world—this expression represents the pinnacle of Islay whisky craftsmanship.

The whisky was aged in a carefully selected combination of 61.8% second-fill European Sherry Oak butts and 38.2% third-fill American Oak hogsheads, then married for an additional 15 months before bottling at 44.3% ABV. Only 130 handblown crystal decanters were produced worldwide, each housed in a presentation inspired by the Aston Martin Valkyrie hypercar.

On the nose, expect sweet vanilla wafers, salted caramel, butterscotch, and buttered shortbread, complemented by tropical fruit notes of mango, peach, pear, and banana, with hints of orange zest, toasted oak, and eucalyptus mint. The palate is light in body yet intensely flavorful with a chewy texture, revealing fresh green apple, bergamot orange, lime juice, floral characteristics, and warming spices of ginger and cinnamon leading to subtle peat smoke. The finish is intense yet lavish, long and smooth with sweet, herbal, and peated character, concluding with notes of chocolate-covered cherry and dusty oak.
