Arillo in Terrabianca Campaccio is a celebrated Super Tuscan red wine from the Terrabianca estate in the heart of Tuscany, Italy. Bearing the IGT Toscana Rosso appellation, it is a pioneering blend of 70% Sangiovese, 20% Cabernet Sauvignon, and 10% Merlot, unified in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperature with a post-fermentation maceration on the skins for 7 to 10 days.

Following fermentation, the wine is aged for 12 months in French oak barriques — second and third passage for the Sangiovese, and first and second passage for the Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot — then refined an additional six months in bottle before release. This careful élevage gives Campaccio its signature intense ruby-red color and complex aromatic profile of ripe cherry, plum, licorice, pepper, and spice, underpinned by toasted oak and vanilla.

On the palate the wine is wide, persistent, and balanced, with a smooth tannic texture fully integrated into its structure and a long, memorable finish. It carries a remarkable aging potential and pairs beautifully with braised or stewed meats and game. The 2019 and 2020 vintages have each earned multiple 90-plus-point scores, including 94 points from Antonio Galloni, 93 points from Wine Advocate and Wine Enthusiast, and 92 points from James Suckling. Alcohol content is 14.0% by volume.
