Albert Fontaine Pouilly-Fuissé 1er Cru is a white Burgundy wine from the Mâconnais subregion of southern Burgundy, France, crafted exclusively from Chardonnay grapes. Pouilly-Fuissé's Premier Cru designation was granted in September 2020 — the first new Premier Cru recognition in Burgundy since 1943 — highlighting the finest vineyard "climats" across the villages of Fuissé, Solutré-Pouilly, Vergisson, and Chaintré.

This wine presents a pale to deep gold color with occasional green reflections. The aromatic profile is expressive, offering citrus (lemon, grapefruit), ripe apple and pear, white flowers, and a distinctive mineral character with hints of hazelnut and buttered brioche. On the palate it is full-bodied with vibrant, well-integrated acidity, a creamy texture, and a long, mineral-driven finish typical of the appellation.

Pouilly-Fuissé 1er Cru pairs beautifully with seafood such as lobster, scallops, and grilled shrimp, as well as roasted chicken with herbs, veal or poultry in cream sauce, goat cheese, and mushroom risotto. Serve slightly chilled at 50–55°F (10–13°C). High-quality examples can age five to ten years or more, developing layers of honey, dried fruit, and toasted nut complexity over time.
