Cleto Chiarli Lambrusco Grasparossa di Castelvetro is a semi-sweet sparkling red wine from the Emilia-Romagna region in northern Italy. Produced by the oldest Lambrusco producer in Emilia-Romagna, Cleto Chiarli has been crafting quality Lambrusco since 1860. This wine is made from the Lambrusco Grasparossa grape variety, known for its deep red color and high natural acidity.

The Centenario Amabile version features intense violet, fruitcake, and blackberry jam aromas with very fruity notes and all the grape fragrances. It displays lively, fading bubbles of a marked rose color. The wine has a balanced inner sweetness accompanied by masses of ripe red and blue fruits carried by juicy acidity. Round and creamy but not cloying, touches of pepper and cinnamon complicate cherry jam flavors. Excellent acidity keeps the residual sugar in balance, underpinning a savory and slightly grippy finish with a subtle citrus twang that enlivens the senses.

This smooth and surprisingly pleasant wine pairs wonderfully with traditional cuisine from Emilia-Romagna and is also an excellent accompaniment to desserts.
