Vignobles Berthier Terre de Silex is a 100% Sauvignon Blanc from the Coteaux du Giennois appellation in the Upper Loire Valley of France. Produced by brothers Clément and Florian Berthier, fifth-generation Loire Valley winegrowers, this wine comes from a special plot in Saint-Père where vines are rooted in flint-rich clay soil dating back to the Cretaceous period.

The wine presents a golden-yellow color with intense flint and mineral aromas layered with fresh grapefruit, green pepper, and subtle spice. On the palate, it is powerful yet elegant with pronounced minerality and citrus notes. The Berthier estate spans 32 hectares between the Coteaux du Giennois and Sancerre regions, with organic certification achieved in 2022. The grapes are picked for optimal ripeness and the wine is aged in stainless steel with extended lees contact, a hallmark of the Berthier winemaking style. 12.5% ABV. Contains sulfites.
