Bernardus Marinus Red is a flagship Bordeaux-style blend from Bernardus Winery, located in Carmel Valley, Monterey County, California. Founded by Dutch entrepreneur Ben Pon Jr., Bernardus has been crafting this wine from its estate Marinus Vineyard since the early 1990s, making it one of the most storied red blends on the Central Coast.

The wine is composed of all five classic Bordeaux varieties — Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Cabernet Franc, Petit Verdot, and Malbec — grown on the estate's benchland soils in the warm, fog-sheltered Carmel Valley appellation. The result is a structured, age-worthy red with aromas of smashed and roasted berries and light licorice on the nose, leading to a palate of blackberry and fennel notes on a dry, firm frame. The wine is consistently rated in the low-to-mid 90s by Wine Enthusiast and is designed to drink well upon release and cellar through the following decade.
