Fukano Whisky Blonde is a limited-edition Japanese whisky from Fukano Shuzo Distillery, located in Hitoyoshi City, Kumamoto Prefecture on the island of Kyushu. Founded in 1823, the distillery has been family-operated for five generations and is renowned for producing whisky from locally grown malted and un-malted rice distilled in stainless steel pot stills at a relatively low proof.

The Blonde expression is bottled at 42.5% ABV and represents a minimally oaked release designed to showcase the pure, clean character of Fukano's rice-based spirit. Only 1,040 bottles were produced, making it a highly sought collectible. After distillation, the spirit is transferred to new charred oak barrels and aged in a warehouse reminiscent of a Scottish dunnage. The result is an elegant whisky with aromas of lemon, lime, star fruit, Bartlett pear, dragonfruit, allspice, nutmeg, and star anise. On the palate, expect icing sugar, lemon mousse, kiwi, lime, honeydew, pear, light vanilla, pineapple, and candied orange, finishing with a mouth-coating bite of lemon peel. Whisky Advocate awarded it a score of 92 points in their Summer 2024 issue.

This whisky is distilled, matured, and bottled in Japan and is distributed in export markets by ImpEx Beverages. Each case contains 6 bottles of 750ML.
