The Priest Ranch label was established in 2006 to honor the legacy of James Joshua Priest, a Gold Rush prospector who founded the original ranch in 1869. The winery sources all fruit from its own diverse hillside blocks, which feature varied elevations, exposures, soils, and microclimates — conditions that contribute to deeply complex and approachable wines.

This red blend reflects Priest Ranch's dedication to Bordeaux-inspired winemaking, combining traditional grape varieties such as Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Malbec, Cabernet Franc, and Petit Verdot.
