Scuppoz Amaretto is an artisanal Italian liqueur crafted in Campovalano, Abruzzo, by the Cicconi family, whose spirits laboratorio was founded by Benito Cicconi in 1982 and is now helmed by his son Adriano. Unlike mass-produced amarettos that rely on artificial flavorings, Scuppoz uses a genuine distillate of toasted almonds sweetened with pure cane sugar and colored with caramelized sugar, resulting in a rich, complex expression with layered nutty bitterness balanced by caramel sweetness. It carries 28% ABV.

The Scuppoz operation is part laboratory and part artisanal atelier, committed to showcasing the craftsmanship and high-quality ingredients of the Abruzzo region. No artificial colorings or sweeteners are ever used in production. The brand has earned recognition from Italy's SlowFood organization for its sustainable production practices and has won awards at spirits competitions around the world.
