Château de Poncié Beaujolais-Villages Blanc is a white wine crafted entirely from Chardonnay grapes at one of the most storied estates in the Beaujolais region of France, with roots dating back to 949 AD. The estate is part of the prestigious Maisons & Domaines Henriot portfolio and is located in the Fleurie appellation of Beaujolais.

The Chardonnay vines grow on three hectares at the foot of the Montgenas hill, where deep, sandy soils of fine clay and pink granite with a northeast exposure foster exceptional freshness and balance of flavors. The estate has been certified organic since 2019. Winemaking begins with immediate pressing after brief cold storage, with no sulfur dioxide added during vinification. The wine is fermented in stainless steel vats on fine lees at a low temperature of approximately 17°C to preserve delicate aromatics.

The wine offers notes of honey and earthy minerality on the nose and pairs beautifully with shellfish, rich fish such as salmon and tuna, and pork dishes. Recent vintages have received scores of 92 points from James Suckling, reflecting the estate's consistent quality at the top of the Beaujolais hierarchy.
